Frequently Asked Questions

Does PrismRift require internet access?

No. PrismRift is completely offline. You can play anywhere, any time, without a connection.

Do I need an account?

No. There is no account, sign-in, or registration required. Just install and play.

How do I start a run?

From the Atrium (home screen), tap "Descend" to open the Strata Map and begin a new run.

How do chains work?

Press and drag your finger across adjacent cells of the same color on the Lattice board. You can move in any of 8 directions. A chain of 3 or more is valid. Release to fire. Chains longer than 5 gain a resonance bonus.

What is Integrity?

Your health for the run. You start with 20. When a fracture's Charge counter hits zero, it attacks and reduces your Integrity. If it reaches 0, the run ends.

How do I unlock Archive entries?

Each time you defeat a fracture for the first time, a new Archive entry is unlocked permanently. You can view all discoveries in the Archive section of the Atrium.

How do I reset my progress?

Go to Progress - Calibration section at the bottom - long press the reset button (hold for 1.6 seconds) to clear all data.

I lost my progress after reinstalling. Can it be restored?

PrismRift stores progress locally on your device only. Uninstalling the app removes all local data. There is no cloud backup or server-side storage.

Can I replay the tutorial?

Yes. From the Atrium, tap "Primer" or go to Progress - Calibration - "Replay Primer" to see the full onboarding including the interactive board tutorial.
